Whiteberg: Bhagavad Gita: The Philosophy of Descrimination: Another Body
Chapter 2:
Sankhya yoga: The Philosophy of descrimination
Arjuna submits to Lord Krsna as His disciple, and Krsna begins His teachings to Arjuna by explaining the fundamental distinction between the temporary material body and the eternal spiritual soul. The Lord explains the process of transmigration, the nature of selfless service to the Supreme and the characteristics of a self-realized person.
Whiteberg: Bhagavad Gita Another Body: Lyrics
"He passed into childhood passed into youth passed into old age and then he passed to another body he passed into another body I said he passed to another body he passed into another body I said he passed into another body
Not subject to birth Not subject to death Not subject to living Unborn and eternal Unborn and eternal Primeval
He is not born Nor will He die Nor the reverse
Unborn eternal Unexchangeable Primeval
Him weapons cut not Him fire burns not Him water wets not Him wind dries not
Cannot be cut Cannot be burnt Cannot be wetted Cannot be dried up
Everlasting All-pervading Stable and firm
Unmanifest Unthinkable Unchangeable He is eternal.
Knowing Him to be such Thou hadst better grieve not Never did I exist Nor these rulers of men.
No one of us will ever Cease to exist.
He passed into childhood Passed into youth Passed into old age And then he passed to another body He passed into another body I said he passed to another body He passed into another body I said he passed into another body He passed into another body Why did he pass into another body Why did he pass into another body Why is he in another body Why did he pass into another body Why did he pass into another body Wanna know Wanna know Wanna know Wanna know
That man attaines peace Abandon all desires Move round with no attachment
With no more selfishness With no more vanity This is the Brahmic state"
