Whiteberg: Bhagavad Gita: The Renunciation of Action: Nine Gated City
Chapter 5:
Samnyasa yoga: Renunciation of Action
Outwardly performing all actions but inwardly renouncing their fruits, the wise man, purified by the fire of transcendental knowledge, attains peace, detachment, forbearance, spiritual vision, and bliss.
Whiteberg: Bhagavad Gita: Nine Gated City: Lyrics:
"I do nothing at all The embodied one rests happily in the nine gated city
Neither agency nor objects does the lord create for the world Nor with the fruits of actions
But it is the nature that acts The lord takes neither the evil Nor the good deed of any
wisdom is enveloped By un-wisdom There by mortals are deluded.
But of those who's un-wisdom Is destroyed by wisdom of the self Like the sun wisdom illuminates that supreme.
In a brahmana endued With wisdom and humility
In a cow In an elephant As also in a dog
And in a dog eater The wise see the same."
